Radom critters

Think I've made up various little creatures my entire life, and here's another bunch of them. Some is based upon creatures I made up when I was a kid ^_~

Bird; Ouraa'
Ouraa' is a troll word that means 'magic', and trolls among other species sometimes hunt those birds for their 'magic feathers'. Luckily, it's only shamans and such that may wear them (unless a lucky troll happen to find one on the ground, then they may claim it), so these birds isn't taking any particular damage as a species.
Other then that, these birds stalks around on the forest floor and hunts small rodents by pinning their pray with the long beak and pointy 'wings'.

Gray rodent; Tikka-Tikka
These are little furry animals that use their beak shaped teeth to nibble upon plats and crack nutshells. They are a popular prey among many species.

Black critter; Shadow monkey
Those little fellows sneak around in the trees and hunt insects in the night (they're tarsiers basically). They are really mischievous and have a slight intellect, they often jump down upon larger, more intelligent creatures just to scare them.

Brown rodent; Niska'
Nothing special, just large, slow-moving rodents that like to climb trees.

Worm; Pest maggot
These parasites burrow themselves into living meat to feed and this is also where they will lay their eggs. They are about 10cm (5inch) long, so the infected person will most likely die quite soon. They spread either from having eggs eaten or by simply crawling away.
If interrupted, they can dig fast and deep into ones flesh and is thus hard to remove. The best way is to simply chop of the infected limb (if ones lucky enough to have them in a limb that is).

Thorny creature; Hell rat
Hell rats are small, fierce creatures that live in burrows. They always live in packs and eat anything meaty that may fit in their mouth.
